The day was seriously as long as this post...! A lot happens!

Looking at this blog and thinking that no one posted yesterday saddens me because things that happen to you are clearest soon after. Memories fade until only the best and worst stay with us. When we start to forget the details, we start to forget the little things that make our day. I guess it's up to me to fill the world wide web (not really xD) in on what happened (:
Although yesterday was all business and by the end of the day we were all basically too tired to play, it was a significant day for our crew. Our little IJGK'd baby, Whitney debuted. It's obvious that there's something more than just "dance crew" between us. There's that kind of familiarity of old friends though we've only really been together for a few months, but there's also that uncertainty that the people we see before us aren't who we think they are in the "real world". I always worry that people don't see my third dimension. I wonder all the time whether anyone thinks about me enough to wonder what lies behind the smile, the nice or the unconditional trust I place in the people around me. Why does it seem like everything going for me is perfect or why can I not help but smile when I see your faces?
Back to recounting. Yesterday, I was really worried that I wouldn't pick up what we did on Saturday and I was totez on high nerves. I manned up and took a couple of Panadoolz as my impervious pain shield since my mother's oldest sister would trouble me during the rehearsal and performance if I didn't Teeheehee. Because I was OMNOMNOMing neds, I almost missed the train, but I made it because Elena was helpful enough to buy me a ticket! Yay train buddies (: When we got on the train, she revised me on the heap of changes we had made and I started to freak out a little since my DBSK was already a huge issue for the performance.
Everyone got to CO pretty on time except Angeween who took ages cuz of trackwork and Ellyn who had other things to do. We got off our butts to practice and what I didn't know properly started to become pretty obvious. I mean, I laughed about it, but it wouldn't be a joke if I'd done it during the performance. I bought a juice box, but someone threw it away before I could finish it. :( So we basically worked our butts off until we finalised our costuming. CO IS NOT A DEMOCRACY BOYS AND GIRLS! Haha But Jaye let us keep our shirts on in the end for Mr. Simple and strip like crazy for Roly Poly in the end anyways. Everyone was doing the waacking part of RP funny but we came to a consensus on what were count we were going to stick with as a group. (HARD WORK!)
Next on the order of business were glasses to be super duper funky during Roly Poly. The were some things in that section of Hot Dollar that just wasn't appropriate for Whitney's age! Shame on those people putting it in the same section as the children's party goods! >:( we left to do some shirt shopping to complete the rainbow of our shirts but only Whitney found something in Cotton On (TEAL!) :D And Dan n David bought their fun glasses (: we went off to Pepper Lunch for lunch without Huy, Kevin and Kelvin and Elena and Yuki we being starving students who refused to eat. Yuki took some secret snaps (WINK WINK :DDD) and were were late back to CO meaning a whingy scolding from Kelvin. To think I single-handedly ruined the what was left of the bflus.
We practised in Studio 3 without music for a while and kept having to strip and reclothe. The glitter on my glasses was chafing my face. But the real excitement came when we managed to convince Dan to do Roly Poly with us! DAN IS DANCING AGAIN. How wonderful the reunion! (: The relief that Dan's going to be fine! YAY! Kevin, Yuki and Angeline had to do formation shifts since Angeline was running late, but that meant that Kevin got to do his solo in the middle (: Yuki got to be my partner (as usual! Haha) I was failing the rocking side to side because I don't bend my knees so Jaye reprimanded me Haha Bec came to support us afterward and she brought us cake...for her own birthday! Silly Bec! But oh the chocolatey goodness...Hehehe...
Angeween and Ellyn got to CO when we were just about done and it was basically time to leave. We took the bus down, but we lost Angeline and her brother ship for some off reason and Ellyn and Kelvin because they had to buy glasses though she had pretty coolios glasses anyways. Somehow they managed to leg it up to the cinema before our bus got there and the driver was nice enough to let them on. Our crew did an awkward cheer in the bus as a sign of appreciation I guess...? :P We're a silly bunch, we are!
Jaye filmed our whole way to Dendy's and somehow David met someone he knew the "co-boss". Bonnie and Leslie went to eat Maccas and Kwan and Princy were there, too. When Yuki and I came back from the toilet, they were rehearsing DBSK so we "seamlessly" jumped on Keep Your Head Down transition because we were skilful Hehe I have a feeling I'm still doing formations wrong, but at least I didn't get into anyone's way. The part where we tried to get people to come was awkward though! I believe people who are at the Opera House like to carry on their own merry way because lots of them seemed annoyed to be approached. :(
I would say the DBSK performance went alright. The half sun and half shade was kinda blinding sometimes Haha. And I moved to all the right places...I believe...probably wrongly. There was a little girl being pulled in by us with our sheer attractiveness. We had a five minute interval and once again, failed to drag new people in. It was funny watching us intensely remove our clothing and get our silly glasses ready :P During roly poly, I didn't put my glasses on properly and had to shiftily push them up in that line about the ocean in that move which we're seemingly wiping our sweat. Dan achieved some tax from his solo, I'm sure. (As did Kevin in Mr. Shimple of course!)
We did some filming in front of the Opera House (which has now been uploaded on to Youtube!) and apparently some Korean girls ":O"-ed at Mr. Simple when we started shaking our hands Haha There were posted promoting "The Ship Song" which our crew just rushed towards mindlessly haha. Some random people we didn't know started filming us, too which has random :S It would have been less awks with music because we were a little off time, but did well for what it was. Since Kelvin (and BONNIE!) left before Brotar could do Ma Boy, we had to do the ...non-Brotar version LOOLZ. I really wanted ice cream, but Bec was trying to get me to stay off the ice cream due to my pains!
We promoted one last time on the camcorder when we got back to the wharves. It was fortunate when we were heading back up to Chinatown because the 555 just happened to be there and it meant that we didn't have to use our starving student money to pay for the bus! :D Whitney was really tired because she basically pulled an all-nighter to finish her assignment and the other were tired because it'd been a long day. There are photos to prove it! :P Bec and Kwan left because Begugu was in a rush to go home :( So she couldn't stay for ice cream. At first Jaye was going to go ice cream, but he didn't end up coming because we'd eaten so quickly. Anyways, ice cream together was a new experience for our crew (:
A couple of us shared a super ice cream and Jibbie ate a really chocolatey one by himself! It looked so good! (: By the end it was SO COOL that is was cold! So I had to put on my jacket! Haha We learnt that David didn't eat much junk food and that he works very hard! We must fatten him up and teach him the ways of bacon.
Whitney, Kevin, Ellyn and Princy headed back to the studio when we headed home after ice cream. I made another subtle, but not subtle reference to my mother's oldest sister and I had a good chuckle with Leslie. I always like making Leslie laugh. I wanted to take the train with Leslie, too, but I guess close, but no cigar (: Next time! Yuki headed to her bus stop and since there was trackwork on the Livo line, Dan and David ended up taking the train with us (: We did A LOT of feelings exchanging (the philosophy of emotions!) and watching it got me wondering whether it felt like enough. Like Reese says (AS A JOKE!) about Kwan and Bec "the one that he (they) want/s the most, but can never have"
The train ride was pretty heavy. We covered a lot. When we got off I was going to get driven home, but I had to leg it back so I walk xD I WAS SO TIRED!
Also a big thank you to our teacher and manager Jaye from Crossover Dance Studios!
